GOVT ORDERS ON PREPONED SUMMER VACATION

At last the Govt Order is on the net. G.O. No. 186(3) SE dated 14-5-2012 where it has been made clear that the Summer Vacation would be preponed by the School Authority and as well as reopening would also be preponed accordingly.

That means NO EXTRA LEAVE OVER 65 DAYS! - which is the answer to the question of many a teachers to us since last evening!

Sub:     Preponing of Summer Vacation in view of the present heat wave.

Sir/ Madam,

            In view of the present heat wave prevailing over the State it has been decided to pre pone the summer vacation for a few days so as to start on and from 15th -16th May, 2012. You are accordingly requested to advise all schools under your respective control to pre pone the summer vacation accordingly. In order to ensure that normal school working days are not affected the re-opening of schools after the summer vacation will also be preponed accordingly.

         This may be treated as urgent.
